📖 About

LocalizedFM is an independent 24/7 web-based radio station broadcasting from Tutong in Brunei Darussalam. Established in 2024 under the ownership of ByKiwiCorporation—a Bruneian multimedia diversity company dedicated to empowering local creatives and businesses—the station was created to introduce a fresh, non-mainstream alternative to traditional public and commercial radio in Brunei. Operating under its core philosophies 'Personality Over Perfection.' and 'Fresh & Localized, Reaching Airwaves', LocalizedFM emphasizes authentic curation, expressive radio personalities, and community-driven content creation over overly polished commercial broadcasting. The station's dynamic programming lineup features an eclectic mix of contemporary music genres, including electronic, modern pop, R&B, and indie tracks, alongside a dedicated showcase for homegrown Bruneian artists and regional talents. Presenters on LocalizedFM are given creative freedom to curate their own show playlists, share personal stories, and host casual talk segments that resonate with younger listeners, students, and urban music enthusiasts. Broadcast primarily in English and Malay, the daily schedule provides a vibrant blend of curated music blocks, artist spotlights, and casual lifestyle conversations. Operating exclusively as a digital broadcaster, LocalizedFM streams worldwide via a high-quality 224 kbps MP3 online audio feed. By leveraging modern web streaming infrastructure and active social media engagement through Instagram, the station provides a platform for independent audio creators and connects Bruneian digital culture with global radio listeners.
