Radio Naya Jiwan

📖 About

Radio Naya Jiwan (meaning 'New Life' in Hindi) is a listener-supported, Hindi-language Christian radio station based in Suva, Fiji. Officially launched on October 1, 2004, the station operates under the management of the Evangelical Bible Mission Trust Board. It was established with a dedicated spiritual mission to carry Christian teachings, inspirational content, and gospel messages to Hindi and Urdu-speaking communities across Fiji, fulfilling a unique role in the nation's multi-ethnic religious broadcasting landscape. The station's programming is centered on Christian ministry and spiritual growth, combining contemporary and traditional Hindi gospel music, choir hymns, and devotional worship tracks with daily Bible teachings, prayer services, and moral advice. Radio Naya Jiwan broadcasts inspirational messages designed for families, encouraging personal faith and community togetherness. Annual radiothon fundraising drives in February and September sustain its non-commercial broadcast ministry. Broadcasting on the 94.6 FM frequency, Radio Naya Jiwan covers the Greater Suva area and extending regions across Viti Levu, including Navua, Pacific Harbour, Lami, Nasinu, Nakasi, and Nausori. Operating out of studios at 16 Ono Street in Samabula, Suva, the station also maintains global digital accessibility via online streaming webcasts and mobile radio platforms like Listen2myradio and Simple Radio, allowing the Indo-Fijian diaspora worldwide to tune in.
