Life FM Fiji 87.8 FM

📖 About

Life FM Fiji is a non-commercial Christian radio station headquartered in Suva, Fiji, operating under United Christian Broadcasters Fiji (UCB Fiji) as part of the broader United Christian Broadcasters Asia Pacific network. Launched on FM on September 11, 2026, after three years of development and licensing work led by Station Manager/CEO Tomu Raiviu, the station was officially inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica at Studio 6 in Suva. Life FM was created to address social issues affecting Fijian youth—including substance abuse, mental health struggles, and family breakdown—by delivering encouraging messages, spiritual fellowship, and positive values across the islands. The station's programming is specifically designed to engage listeners aged 13 to 25 and families, combining contemporary Christian music, gospel tracks, and worship with practical life advice and daily devotional features like 'The Word for Today'. On-air content covers youth empowerment, moral guidance, drug awareness, and inspirational talk shows delivered primarily in English. Alongside its musical broadcasts, Life FM provides community news, health awareness content, and prayer outreach segments to foster personal growth and spiritual renewal. Broadcasting terrestrially on 87.8 FM from studios on Wainivula Road in Caubati, Suva, Life FM serves the Greater Suva metropolitan region with planned network expansions targeting Nadi, Lautoka, and Labasa on Vanua Levu. To reach the wider Pacific region and the international Fijian diaspora, the station streams its live audio feed 24/7 online via its official website (lifefmfiji.org) and dedicated mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.
