Z92

📖 About

Z92 (transmitting on 92.1 FM as KZUA) is a commercial country music radio station licensed to Holbrook, Arizona, and serving the vast expanses of Northeast Arizona and the White Mountains region. Owned by Petracom of Holbrook, LLC (a subsidiary of Petracom Media), the station has established itself as an essential local media source for rural communities across the region, delivering an authentic blend of mainstream country hits, classic country anthems, and localized community programming. As part of the White Mountain Radio group, Z92 significantly expanded its broadcast footprint in January 2011 by initiating a full-time simulcast with sister station KZUZ (93.5 FM) located in Show Low, Arizona. This strategic pairing allows the station to blanket the mountainous and high-desert terrain with powerful signals reaching drivers, local residents, and travelers across multiple counties. The programming targets country music enthusiasts of all ages, maintaining a strong connection with the local lifestyle, regional news, and community events. Operating with a robust 100,000-watt effective radiated power (ERP), Z92 provides reliable coverage both over-the-air and through global digital streams. Listeners can tune in online via official web player feeds, mobile streaming directories, and apps, ensuring that former residents and country fans outside of Arizona can stay connected to the unique flavor of the White Mountains broadcast community.
