📖 About

Young Country 93.1 (transmitting on 93.1 FM via translator K226CH and KRBL-HD3) is a vibrant commercial country music radio station serving Lubbock, Texas. Launched by Ramar Communications in April 2025 as a fresh evolution of the frequency (which previously operated as Hot Adult Contemporary outlet '93.1 Yes FM'), the station was created to inject a dynamic modern energy into the West Texas airwaves. It focuses heavily on spinning today's biggest contemporary country hits, breaking fresh tracks for regional audiences, and supporting the genre's newest superstars. The station's program schedule is anchored by high-profile nationally syndicated programming, most notably featuring The Bobby Bones Show during morning drive-time, which delivers an entertaining mix of country star interviews, pop culture talk, and lighthearted comedy. Complementing its morning lineup is a continuous rotation of current mainstream country favorites from top artists like Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, and Jelly Roll, catering directly to loyal country music fans across the South Plains region. Operated by Ramar Communications out of their Lubbock broadcasting headquarters, Young Country 93.1 bridges terrestrial FM broadcasting with robust digital accessibility. Listeners can tune in locally via 93.1 FM and HD radio, or stream the station globally through its official website and custom mobile applications for iOS and Android, solidifying its place as a staple of contemporary country radio in West Texas.
