WXPI Community Radio is an all-volunteer, listener-supported community radio station originally established to serve Jersey Shore, Williamsport, and the surrounding Lycoming and Clinton counties in north-central Pennsylvania. Operating as a dedicated project of the non-profit Williamsport Independent Media, Inc., the station first took to the airwaves in 2011. It has long served as a crucial independent voice in the region, broadcasting alternative perspectives, local community news, public-affairs programming, and diverse musical showcases that range from roots and blues to classic soul and retro-themed specialty hours. In addition to localized grassroots content, WXPI has featured syndicated programming from networks such as Pacifica Radio, providing an essential platform for underrepresented viewpoints and local artists.
