station history:The WRJQ name originated with a former Appleton AM radio station that operated at 1570 AM. The original station signed on as WAPL in 1952, became WVMS in 1978, changed its call letters to WRJQ in 1985, and eventually became WSCO in 2002. Aaron Schuelke later revived the WRJQ name as an internet radio station dedicated to the music and memory of the former station.
