Authorized following initial construction permits filed by Management Advisory Services, Inc. (MASI), the station officially commenced broadcasting operations on July 9, 2012. Originally launched under the branding 'The Pulse', the station underwent a significant structural and programming revamp in 2017, relaunching as 'The Point' under the operational management of Choice Broadcasting. It serves as an essential auditory window for current affairs, political discourse, and global commentary across the Western Pacific region.
