The Plum Radio

📖 About

The Plum Radio is a premier digital radio station broadcasting live from 2116 Krystal Gade in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Operated under the parent media group North Coast Digital and Plum City Productions, the station was founded in 2020 by a small, dedicated broadcast team to address a distinct gap in the local and regional airwaves for continuous smooth jazz and classic rhythm and blues. Over the years, it has evolved into a internationally recognized online audio service, connecting smooth jazz lovers across the Caribbean and worldwide. The station features a meticulously structured 24/7 weekly schedule that balances refined instrumental sounds, timeless R&B, and soul-stirring Sunday programming. Monday through Thursday programming opens with the early morning 'Wake Up Show' and 'Drive Time Jazz', transitions into classic 1960s–1990s R&B retrospectives, and winds down with late-night new jazz releases and overnight smooth jazz. Weekend highlights feature syndicated and specialty productions such as Johnnie Walker's 'Women Who Jam', Jeffree Charles's 'For Lovers Only', 'Live at the Bop Stop', and Mr. K's comprehensive Sunday 'Gospel Productions'. Equipped with high-definition digital streaming capabilities through the Radio.co infrastructure, The Plum Radio brings top-tier production values to Caribbean and global audiences. In addition to its core streaming radio services, the broader North Coast Digital network collaborates with local media artists, providing recording and video production assistance out of Charlotte Amalie. This holistic focus on musical excellence and community engagement makes The Plum Radio an essential cultural destination for contemporary jazz and classic soul enthusiasts.
