The New Flo 107.1

📖 About

The New Flo 107.1 (call sign: KFCO) is a listener-supported radio station licensed to Bennett, Colorado, and serving the entire Denver metropolitan area. Originally launched in 1985 as an easy-listening station, 107.1 FM has undergone a remarkably colorful evolution over the decades, cycling through various iterations including soft adult contemporary, mainstream Top 40, rhythmic CHR, dance, adult hits (as Jack FM), alternative, and classic hip-hop. In early 2024, Pillar Media (operated by Pillar of Fire International) acquired the frequency and transformed it into a dedicated Christian hip hop station, providing a unique, faith-based urban soundscape for the region. The station's current programming focuses on uplifting, contemporary faith-based hip-hop and rap music, featuring prominent artists in the Christian hip-hop genre such as Lecrae, Andy Mineo, KB, and Hulvey. Transitioning from secular formats to a faith-driven mission, The New Flo 107.1 aims to connect with younger generations and urban demographics who resonate with hip-hop culture while offering an encouraging, positive message. Operated alongside sister stations like KPOF and KSRC (Star 101.5), the station anchors Pillar Media's diverse spiritual broadcasting portfolio in Colorado. Broadcasting with a powerhouse 97,000-watt signal from its transmitter in rural Adams County, complemented by a strong booster station in Aurora, The New Flo 107.1 reaches listeners across the Front Range. In addition to its traditional terrestrial reach, the station leverages digital platforms, smart speaker integration, and mobile applications to stream its modern ministry and energetic musical style to a growing national and global audience.
