The Big 630 Radio

📖 About

The Big 630 Radio is an internet radio station dedicated to preserving the musical legacy and broadcast spirit of classic St. Louis pop radio. Stationed digitally out of St. Louis, Missouri, the station operates as an online tribute to the legendary KXOK 630 AM, a powerhouse Top 40 AM station that defined the airwaves across Greater St. Louis and the Midwest during the golden age of mid-century radio. Originally launched under the name 'The Big 630 Radio - St. Louis Memories of the 50's & 60's!', the station was created and programmed by veteran radio host Hoz-Man to capture the nostalgia and energy of classic regional radio. The station's programming format spans a vibrant multi-decade mix of golden oldies and classic pop hits. Its primary musical presentation features Motown classics, garage rock, soul, and bubblegum pop from the 1960s, smoothly transitioning into 1970s disco and pop rock, as well as mainstream pop hits from the early MTV era of the 1980s. The station avoids tight repetition, delivering an extensive library of chart-toppers and regional favorites aimed at nostalgic listeners, classic hits enthusiasts, and former fans of original St. Louis AM hit radio. Operating independently, The Big 630 Radio streams online 24/7 through major digital radio syndication platforms including Live365 and Zeno.FM, alongside its official website. Incorporating retro station jingles, vintage audio imaging, and classic music curation, the station serves as a dedicated digital sanctuary for retro hit music aficionados in Missouri and worldwide.
