The Bee 95.1

📖 About

The Bee 95.1 (licensed as KWJB, 1510 AM, and operating with a 95.1 FM translator) is a full-service community radio station located and licensed in Canton, Texas. Originally launched under prior iterations and history dating back decades in the region, the station broadcasts a vibrant blend of classic hits, adult contemporary favorites, and country classics, providing an inviting soundtrack for listeners across Van Zandt County and greater East Texas. Owned by Butler7Media, LLC, the station functions as a vital local media pillar. One of the most unique aspects of KWJB is its physical and cultural integration with the community; it broadcasts directly from the famous First Monday Trade Days grounds in Canton, a massive monthly flea market destination drawing over 100,000 visitors. Its programming uniquely blends entertaining daily shows, community updates, local talk, and regional high school sports coverage. By keeping a heavy focus on local happenings that big-city stations often overlook, The Bee has established itself as an essential companion for residents staying connected to local events, weather, and localized announcements. The station targets a broad adult demographic ranging from classic rock and adult contemporary enthusiasts to local sports fans and shoppers visiting the region. In addition to its terrestrial AM and FM translator frequencies, The Bee 95.1 extends its reach globally through online streaming via its official website, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and local cable broadcast outlets.
