📖 About

SRF 1 Ostschweiz is the regional service of Radio SRF 1, Switzerland's most-listened-to information programme in German-speaking Switzerland. The station serves the Ostschweiz region and is available to listeners in Liechtenstein. Its programming combines regional news and information with talk, music, and entertainment, including the flagship Regionaljournal Ostschweiz, which covers politics, business, culture, sport, and society from the six Eastern Swiss cantons of St. Gallen, Thurgau, Graubünden, Glarus, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, and Appenzell Innerrhoden [citation:1][citation:6]. The Regionaljournal Ostschweiz is broadcast five times daily on weekdays and once on Sundays, providing an essential second voice in a region with limited media diversity [citation:17]. Radio SRF 1 reaches approximately 1.3 million listeners daily across all its regional services [citation:11].
