SikhNet Radio - Singh Sabha Washington

📖 About

SikhNet Radio - Singh Sabha Washington is an internet-based radio stream broadcasting live devotional content directly from the Gurdwara Singh Sabha of Washington located in Renton, Washington. Operating as part of the broader SikhNet network, this dedicated channel serves as a vital digital bridge for the local and global Sikh community, offering continuous access to spiritual programming. The parent institution, the Gurdwara Singh Sabha of Washington, first opened its doors in 1993 as a small wood-frame structure and has since expanded into a major 23,000-square-foot community center serving tens of thousands of Sikhs across the Pacific Northwest. Programming on this station centers heavily around traditional Gurbani Kirtan (devotional hymns), spiritual discourses (Katha), daily Diwans, and live coverage of sacred religious ceremonies held at the Renton Gurdwara. Listeners tune in from around the world to immerse themselves in continuous sacred recitations and connect with the spiritual heartbeat of the Washington Sikh congregation. The broadcasts are designed to make Sikh teachings, sacred music, and community events accessible to anyone with an internet connection, regardless of their geographical location. The station is hosted and distributed via SikhNet—a premier global online portal founded to support and foster Sikh communication, education, and community worldwide. Through this digital platform, the live audio stream captures authentic live recordings straight from the prayer halls of the Renton Gurdwara, serving both homebound community members and international audiences seeking spiritual nourishment, religious education, and a continuous connection to Sikh heritage.
