Rock Party Radio

📖 About

Rock Party Radio is a 24/7 digital rock radio station created and launched over Labor Day weekend in 2021 by 40-year radio broadcasting veteran Al Cocchi. Conceived during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic as a positive and uplifting antidote to depressing news cycles and somber airwaves, the station was deliberately formatted to exclude sad songs and negative programming. Cocchi spent roughly a year logging songs into the rotation, curating a core library of over 960 party-friendly tracks. The station's musical identity spans classic rock, hard rock, hair metal, alternative, and contemporary rock releases from the 1960s through the present day. Its carefully structured rotation mixes iconic sing-along anthems with deep album cuts and new rock singles. Alongside continuous automated music mixes, Rock Party Radio features a full slate of daily hosted broadcasts and syndicated specialty shows. On-air talent and programs include afternoon drive with founder Al Cocchi, Steve Habig, Kelly Thomas, the syndicated 'John & Heidi' show, and specialty programming like 'Bob Steis Grunge Garage'. Operating online and anchored in the New York metropolitan and New Jersey area, Rock Party Radio maintains an active digital footprint that combines live music streaming with daily rock music news reporting, album reviews, concert updates, and mobile app integration. By pairing an uplifting playlist philosophy with interactive listener features, the station has cultivated a dedicated global fanbase of classic and modern rock enthusiasts.
