Radio Victoria Aruba

📖 About

Radio Victoria Aruba 93.1 FM is a historic Christian radio station broadcasting from the island of Aruba. Founded in 1958 by missionaries of the Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM), the station originally aired programs through Voz di Aruba before obtaining its own facility in 1959. Initially broadcasting on the AM band, it expanded to include FM transmissions in 1970 before eventually phasing out its AM operations in 1997. In 1992, control was handed over to Komunion (the association of the communion of evangelical churches of the ABC islands), and it later transitioned into an independent Aruban foundation managed by local Christians. The station's programming is deeply rooted in gospel music, Christian teachings, faith-based talk shows, and scriptural guidance designed to support the island's evangelical community. Reflecting Aruba's multilingual landscape, Radio Victoria broadcasts daily content in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamentu. Popular segments and ministerial programs—such as 'Berdad & Bida' and devotional discussions—cater to a wide-ranging audience seeking moral encouragement, spiritual growth, and inspiration. Operating from its headquarters in Washington, Noord (near Oranjestad), the station maintains a robust online presence alongside its traditional 93.1 FM terrestrial broadcast. Through its live internet streams and digital platforms, Radio Victoria Aruba continues to fulfill its long-standing mission of spreading the gospel, connecting local believers, and reaching members of the international Christian diaspora across the globe.
