Lex & Terry

📖 About

The Lex & Terry Morning Radio Network is a widely popular, nationally syndicated talk and rock-oriented morning radio program that originated from dynamic roots in Jacksonville, Florida, before moving its production base to Dallas, Texas. Co-founded by radio veteran Lex Staley and comedian Terry Jaymes, the show officially launched in its syndicated format in 1997, building upon the duo's earlier local success. Over the decades, it has established itself as an iconic fixture in American rock radio, bridging the gap between conventional talk radio and high-energy entertainment. The program's distinct format features an irreverent, unfiltered blend of relationship commentary, pop culture, sports, humor, and active listener interaction, paired with a heavy-hitting rock music playlist tailored primarily toward a male demographic. Alongside Lex and Terry, the on-air lineup features veteran executive producer and sidekick Dee Reed alongside co-host Sarah B. Morgan. Together, the team crafts an engaging atmosphere that tackles everyday absurdities, news items, and personal anecdotes with humor, candor, and tight comedic timing. Distributed across multiple terrestrial rock radio affiliates throughout the United States as well as 24/7 digital streaming streams and member-supported podcast networks, Lex & Terry continues to command a loyal audience. Whether listeners tune in during their morning commute or stream exclusive uncensored content online, the show remains a powerhouse of modern syndication and enduring broadcast longevity.
