KVKVI - Music Mike's Flashback Favorites

📖 About

KVKVI is a popular 24/7 listener-supported internet radio station based in Columbus, Ohio, functioning as the official digital broadcast companion to the widely followed YouTube music channel 'Music Mike's Flashback Favorites'. Founded and operated by industry enthusiast Mike Greene (known as 'Music Mike'), the station officially launched in February 2015 after years of planning to bring back the golden sound of high-energy, personality-driven radio. The station specializes in a broad, nostalgic mix of classic hits spanning the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, capturing the diverse auditory landscape of classic pop, rock, soul, and rhythm and blues. Programming on KVKVI is meticulously curated to go far beyond predictable mainstream rotations, offering listeners a dynamic blend of major chart-toppers alongside rare 'deep cuts' and forgotten favorites that narrowly missed the Billboard Top 40 or peaked just outside major commercial view. In addition to its deep music catalog, the station features classic syndicated programming blocks such as 'The History Of Rock & Roll' hosted by Bill Drake, Dick Clark's 'Rock Roll & Remember', and Rick Dees' 'Weekly Top 40' archives. This unique combination of historical context, vintage jingles, and commercial-free execution creates an authentic throwback radio experience tailored for dedicated oldies and classic music enthusiasts worldwide. Operating strictly as an online-first digital broadcaster, KVKVI streams continuously from Music Mike's studio setup in Columbus, Ohio. The station is part of the Michael Greene Companies Inc. broadcast family—which also includes sister stations Groovy Radio and Total Chaos Radio. Listeners can access KVKVI globally through its official website, custom mobile applications on iOS and Android, and prominent online streaming directories and radio aggregators.
