history:KJZZ traces its history to 1951, when the station began broadcasting as KFCA. It moved to 91.5 FM in 1966, became an NPR member station in 1971, adopted the KMCR call letters in 1972, and became KJZZ in 1985. The station moved to its current studios at Rio Salado College in Tempe in 2002.
