📖 About

KISN Goodguy Radio (call sign: KISN-LP) is a low-power FM radio station broadcasting at 95.1 MHz in Portland, Oregon. The station is owned and operated by the Western Oregon Radio Club, Inc., and features a specialized oldies, classic rock, and pop hits format that captures the vibrant soundscapes of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Broadcasting from a transmitter located on Mt. Scott, KISN-LP serves the Portland metropolitan area with unique deep cuts and fan-favorite nostalgia tracks that rarely receive airtime on mainstream commercial oldies outlets. The station takes its inspiring call letters and homage layout from the historic KISN (910 AM), a legendary Top 40 powerhouse that originally broadcast from Vancouver, Washington, serving the Pacific Northwest from 1959 through the late 1970s. Carrying forward the spirit of the famous 'Good Guys' DJs and era, KISN-LP officially launched on May 1, 2015, at exactly 9:51 a.m.—deliberately timed to coincide with the 56th anniversary of the historic original KISN's debut in 1959. Programming on KISN Goodguy Radio appeals heavily to vintage music enthusiasts, local history buffs, and loyal listeners looking for a diverse rotation of classic rock, pop, and rare oldies hits. Alongside its local terrestrial footprint on 95.1 FM, the station streams its live audio globally via its official website, bridging multi-generational audiences and keeping the legendary 'Good Guy' radio tradition alive and thriving in the digital age.
