📖 About

Khulumani FM 95.0 is a provincial commercial radio station owned by the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) and based at Montrose Studios in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Launched on 2 March 2018, it was established as part of President Emmerson Mnangagwa's 100-day Rapid Results Initiative to provide a dedicated platform for the Matabeleland region, addressing the historical marginalization of local artists and communities [citation:7][citation:11]. The station broadcasts in seven languages—English, Ndebele, Xhosa, Kalanga, Venda, Sotho, and Tonga—making it a vital multilingual voice for the region [citation:4][citation:7]. Its programming is community-oriented, focusing on local news, current affairs, talk shows, and music, with a strong commitment to promoting local artists from Bulawayo and Matabeleland [citation:4][citation:11]. The station's music playlist is predominantly Nguni, featuring artists from the region, South Africa, and Eswatini, alongside pop, R&B, country, and reggae [citation:7].
