📖 About

K-Brite 1240 AM (call sign KNSN) is a dedicated Christian teaching and talk radio station licensed to San Diego, California, and serving the greater San Diego media market. The station functions primarily as a local simulcast outlet for the iconic Southern California Christian broadcaster KBRT (740 AM) based in Costa Mesa, bringing continuous faith-based programming, inspirational messages, and biblical teachings to listeners across San Diego County. Owned by Crawford Media Group through licensee Kiertron, Inc., K-Brite forms an integral part of a network that has long served as the Southland's premier source for Christian enlightenment and edification. Originally signing on the airwaves in 1947 under the historic call sign KSON—serving for decades as a popular local country music pioneer—the frequency underwent several transitions before joining the Crawford Broadcasting family to broadcast its current format. Its daily programming features deeply engaging theological discussions, daily devotionals, and nationally recognized Christian speakers and ministry leaders providing scriptural guidance from a traditional Christian worldview. Notable programs and teachings focus on Christian living, spiritual growth, and family values, addressing listeners seeking faith-centered content. In addition to its standard AM signal broadcasting at 1240 kHz, K-Brite enhances its accessibility through an FM translator (103.3 MHz K277DG) and digital streaming availability across multiple platforms. Through its commitment to delivering inspiring content, K-Brite 1240 AM continues a legacy of faith broadcasting that connects the community to uplifting messages, worship music blocks, and steadfast spiritual resources.
