HipHop MadHouse

📖 About

HipHop MadHouse is an independent digital internet radio station based in Houston, Texas. Founded, owned, and operated by veteran DJ/producer Djblackk the Blacksmith alongside his wife, the station was established to provide an authentic online platform dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and advancing global Hip-Hop and R&B culture. Drawing deep inspiration from Chicago's legendary 1980s house and hip-hop scene—where Djblackk originally honed his craft under the influence of pioneers like Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles—HipHop MadHouse offers an uncompromised, culture-first listening experience. The station's 24/7 broadcast programming blends classic golden-era 1990s and 2000s Hip-Hop, soulful R&B, classic house, and modern urban hits. In addition to automated stream rotation, HipHop MadHouse features specialized weekly mix shows hosted by resident DJs. Flagship programs include 'The Soulful Sounds of The Cherry Room' and 'Friday Night Smooth' with Philadelphia native DJ Kevin Rucker (highlighting Soulful and Afro House), along with high-energy mix sessions such as 'Throw Down Thursday' and DJ Cuenique's 'Go Hard Hip Hop Mix'. Operating internationally through its official web platform, mobile streaming aggregators like Streema and Zeno.FM, and syndicated partner networks, HipHop MadHouse provides a continuous, immersive sonic vibe. Beyond music streaming, the HipHop MadHouse crew provides professional mobile DJ and event production services across the Greater Houston metropolitan area, remaining deeply connected to local urban music lovers and the global hip-hop community.
