Harbour Light of the Windwards

📖 About

Harbour Light of the Windwards is a distinctively Christian non-profit radio broadcasting station located at Tarleton Point near Hillsborough on the island of Carriacou, Grenada. Officially established on December 1, 1991, as a dedicated ministry under the Aviation Radio Missionary Service (ARMS), the station was founded with a profound vision to blanket the Windward Islands and surrounding Caribbean waters with a powerful spiritual beacon. Operating on a debt-free ministry model relying heavily on faith and listener support, the station has grown into an enduring pillar of spiritual and educational guidance across the region. The station's comprehensive programming format is anchored by its guiding slogan, delivering 'Bible based, Christ centered, and distinctively Christian programming for the whole family.' Listeners tuning in through terrestrial AM (1400 AM) and dual regional FM frequencies (92.3 FM and 94.5 FM) are treated to a thoughtful curation of in-depth Bible teaching programs, Southern Gospel music, inspirational children's educational dramas, and essential public service broadcasts. By combining traditional multi-frequency broadcasting with reliable global digital streaming feeds, Harbour Light successfully connects local island congregations with Christian audiences and the diaspora worldwide.
