97.9 The WREN (WREN-LP) is a non-profit community radio station serving Charlottesville, Virginia, and the surrounding Central Virginia area. The station specializes in real oldies and classic hits, featuring a large music library covering the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s, with occasional selections from later in the 1980s by classic artists.
