📖 About

92.1 Hank FM (operating via translator K221FW) is a premier classic country music radio station serving the Lewiston, Idaho, and Clarkston, Washington metropolitan area. Broadcasting a dedicated format of timeless country legends, the station functions as an HD radio translator of Nelly Broadcasting's KZBG-HD3, licensed to Lapwai, Idaho. Over the years, the station has cemented its role as a regional favorite by delivering authentic country hits alongside heavy community engagement, local news updates, and localized high school and college sports play-by-play coverage. The frequency transitioned to its current classic country format and branding as '92.1 Hank FM' in January 2018 (previously known as Big Country Classics), aligning itself with the popular nationwide Hank FM brand concept created by Howard Kroeger. Operating under the umbrella of Nelly Broadcasting—owned by James and Darcy Nelly—the station utilizes a robust translator network to blanket the Lewiston-Clarkston valley with crystal-clear audio. Its programming strategy relies on a rich, deep rotation of classic country tracks that appeal heavily to loyal, tradition-minded country music fans across the Pacific Northwest. In addition to its core terrestrial FM broadcast, 92.1 Hank FM reaches a wide digital audience via online audio streams and mobile apps, keeping local expatriates and regional listeners connected. Through dedicated community partnerships, high school sports broadcasts, and a deep library of country music icons, the station remains a vital cultural anchor and a beloved staple of the Lewiston media landscape.
