103.7 Chuck FM

📖 About

103.7 Chuck FM (WXKT) is a commercial adult hits radio station licensed to Maysville, Georgia, serving the Athens and Gainesville metropolitan areas. Originally signing on the air in January 1989 under the call sign WBIC, the frequency has undergone several historical transitions, including long stints as WPUP and as a rock-oriented station before briefly adopting a news/talk format. On May 25, 2012, the station flipped to its current popular adult hits format under the 'Chuck FM' moniker, establishing a unique brand identity built around a diverse, unpredictable mix of pop, rock, and classic hits from multiple decades. Operated under the ownership of Cox Media Group (Cox Radio, LLC), WXKT features a broad variety music format characterized by its famous 'We Play Everything' philosophy. Rather than adhering to a narrow, rigid playlist, the station delivers an expansive catalog spanning 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s favorites, appealing to a wide demographic of adult listeners across northeast Georgia. In addition to its music programming, the station shares deep community ties as part of Cox Media Group's Athens cluster alongside sister stations like WGAU and WNGC. Broadcasting via its 4,100-watt Class C3 transmitter located in Lula, Georgia, with studios situated nearby in the Athens area, 103.7 Chuck FM maintains strong regional coverage spanning from Gainesville down to Athens. Listeners can tune in locally over the air at 103.7 FM or access live audio globally through online streaming platforms, mobile applications, and the station's official web portal.
