📖 About

100.9 KTSO is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and serving the Tulsa metropolitan area. Originally signed on the air on February 22, 1977, as KXOJ-FM with a Christian radio format, the station underwent significant frequency and branding shifts in August 2016 when the KXOJ branding moved to 94.1 FM. This transition paved the way for the 100.9 frequency to adopt its current identity, eventually becoming Tulsa's dedicated Soft Oldies station operated by Stephens Media Group. Broadcasting from its iconic studios located on the 57th floor of the CityPlex Towers in South Tulsa, the station utilizes an effective radiated power of 19,000 watts to reach listeners across Green Country. The station's programming is carefully curated for an adult demographic, focusing heavily on easy-going, nostalgic favorites and soft hits from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Featuring a relaxing and comfortable listening experience free of heavy disruption, KTSO has carved out a unique niche in the local radio landscape, appealing to loyal listeners who grew up with classic pop, soft rock, and melodic gold. In addition to its main analog broadcast, KTSO utilizes HD Radio technology, hosting digital subchannels that further diversify its media reach within the region.
